The Fall Contest — official rules

Eligibility
Open to individuals aged 18 or over. One entry per person, via one phone-verifiable account. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees of Thesis and their immediate families are not eligible to win.
Entry
Free to enter. Always. No entry fee, no purchase, and no Pro subscription is required to enter or to win — Pro confers no scoring advantage. Enter by running a thesis on the contest page and submitting it as your entry. Entries may be withdrawn and resubmitted until the start bell; after the bell, entries are locked. Late entries are accepted until the final bell — their tracking starts at submission, against the same finish line. Entries are public from the moment of submission.
Judging — objective and mechanical
Each entry is judged on its 4 canonical trades, equal-weighted, tracked notionally from the start bell (or the moment of submission, for late entries) to the final bell. The highest average return wins. Tie-break: the earlier submission. No panel, no discretion — the tracked number is the result.
Prize
$3,000, paid to the winner by bank transfer or PayPal within 30 days of the final bell. The winner is responsible for any taxes applicable in their jurisdiction. If the winner cannot be reached within 14 days of the final bell, the prize passes to the next-ranked entrant.
Fair play
One entry per person. Duplicate or coordinated entries, manipulation of tracking symbols, or any attempt to game the judging leads to disqualification at Thesis's reasonable discretion. Trades are tracked notionally — no real money is placed by entering.
